TRAM EVENTS:
Coverage of Totally Transport from June and Tram Sunday from July including Sheffield 513 back in service for the day, Fleetwood 40 makes a rare outing in passenger service, Standard 147 along Lord Street, the Western Train at both events and other trams which attended.

SUMMER 2009:
The sights and sounds of summer 2009 with various new advert liveries, 675+685 make a rare appearance, 604 returns to service and Boat cars and 619 on specials.

NIGHT TRAIN TO FLEETWOOD:
TRAMS magazine hired the Western Train for a night run to Fleetwood on 29th June. Leaving depot just before midnight the trams headed to Fleetwood and with an open top bus to provide great vantage points and the entire tramway to ourselves, the opportunity was taken to stop at unusual places and shoot some great film! This was the first time the train had been used during darkness hours following its overhaul.

THE TRAM DRIVER EXPERIENCE:
During the summer, Blackpool Transport commenced a one day course which allows members of the public to drive a tram along the prom. We follow two enthusiasts taking part. From the morning classroom session to taking the controls of 623 and driving through to Fleetwood, see what they get up to on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

LAST WEEKEND TO STARR GATE:
Originally planned to happen at the end of the Illuminations in November, Blackpool Council changed their mind and closed the Pleasure Beach - Starr Gate section of the tramway after the last tram on Sunday 6th September.
