Filmed on location in North West England from 1992 to 2006
Section 1: Manchester Victoria - Southport
Manchester Club-Trains are seen departing a 1992 Victoria station. Eventually we join the Southport service. Stops are made at Salford (now Central), Salford Crescent and Wigan Wallgate. On arrival at Southport we see our stock shunt to the sidings.
Section 2: Blackpool North - Crewe
Now moving a little up the coast, we join 37422 at Blackpool North. Our service passes Poulton-le-Fylde and next we see a Class 31 at Deansgate on a return working. After racing an electric at Longsight we turn off, passing Heald Green and to Wilmslow. After a pause we continue to Crewe.
Section 3: Birmingham International - Wolverhampton
At Birmingham International we join 37408 on the Holyhead service. A 37 is seen passing Stechford. New Street features a number of Class 37s on North Wales services. A selection of passenger and freight is seen at Tipton, Hamstead and Bescot.
Section 4: Wolverhampton - Crewe
Wolverhampton is departed and Stafford sees a further North Wales service. On arrival at Crewe we see a number of North Wales services arrive and depart. Please see AV375 for continuation!
Section 5: Warrington–Manchester Victoria
The Warrington Bank Quay part features a number of freight workings. We then travel north to see passenger workings at Arnside and Hess Bank. This DVD film finishes with a return to Manchester Victoria, but in 1995 with the enclosed roof! Sound!
