This DVD features various bus events and running days that took place in the spring of 2024. These events are very important, providing opportunities for enthusiasts and the general public to see and ride on some of the many preserved buses in the UK. Many different buses, both old and new can be seen at these events.

Epping - Ongar Railway Country Bus Event - 25th February 2024
This event was notable for the debut of London Transport 1946 AEC Regent II STL2692 after a length restoration to 1950s condition. Several local former London Transport country area routes were operated by a variety of buses, at the end of the day nine of the buses were gathered in Old Harlow for photographic opportunities.

Vintage Bus Running Day, Golders Green and Muswell Hill - 10th March 2024
This event featured buses running on London bus routes 13, 43, 102, 139, 210, 240 and 603. Buses running included Routemasters, RF and LS single deckers (on the 210), and various other ex-London Transport buses. Filmed in Golders Green and Muswell Hill.

Safeguard Coaches, Guildford, Centenary Event - 16th March 2024
Safeguard started operation in 1924 and is still a family run business today operating several routes in the Guildford Surrey area. There was a display of buses and coaches at Guildford Cathedral and three routes were operated by guest vintage buses, and buses from the current Safeguard fleet.

Barking Garage Centenary Event & Running Day - 23rd March 2024
Barking bus garage was opened by the London General Omnibus Co. in 1924. Today the garage is used by Stagecoach East London. In conjunction with the garage open day, the London Bus Museum organised a running day of London bus routes 62 and 145. Notable buses in use were 1946 utility Guy Arab G351 and prototype RT1 which ran on the 145.

Hertford Classic Bus Running Day - 7th April 2024
Organised by the Amersham & District Motorbus Society, a variety of former London country area buses were operated on a network of routes from Hertford East station. There were Routemasters, RT's, RF's, GS's Leyland Nationals and post war STL2692 also ran in service. Filmed in Hertford, Broxbourne and Knebworth.

London Bus Museum Spring Gathering - 14th April 2024
A large number of buses, both from London and outside London, attended this event held at Brooklands Museum, Weybridge, Surrey. Quite a few different buses were used on route 462. which connects the museum with Weybridge town and station. A number of tours were also operated with buses from the museum collection. Filmed in Brooklands Museum, Byfleet and Weybridge.

Subtitles, no commentary, enjoy the sights and sounds of buses of yesterday and today.
