This DVD covers the ports of the Belgian North Sea coast namely Oostende, Zeebrugge and Antwerp and was filmed during 2014-15.
It shows the wide range of vessels using these ports from the humblest tugs, coasters and support vessels to cruise liners, giant container ships and tankers. A few preserved ships are also to be seen including the magnificent barquentine sailing ship Mercator on display at Oostende. Also here we see the former Trans Europa ferries laid up after service to Ramsgate failed. At Zeebrugge we see the P&O ferries whilst at Antwerp we cover the arrival of the cruise ship Balmoral amongst many other things.
