This film portrays this delightful little railway that operates on a former part of the London Underground network. Originally a branch of the Great Eastern Railway it became part of the Central Line. Following closure by LT it was taken over by enthusiasts and is now a thriving steam railway just a stones throw from London. The line runs from Ongar to the outskirts of Epping but as yet is not linked to the Central Line at Epping station.
Filmed between 2013 and 2016 we cover a selection of special events featuring both the home fleet and visiting locos. The line is proud of its LT heritage and some of the events reflect this. A wide range of locos are to be seen from the diminutive Y7 to the mighty Deltic.
There is no commentary but an information sheet guides you through. Enjoy it all as if you were there.
