SBB-Linien in der Ostschweiz

We use the two main lines to Chur, the transfer station to the Rhaetian Railway: Zurich - Chur and Chur - St. Gallen. While the Zurich - Chur route leads along the scenic lakes of Zurich and Walensee, the route to St. Gallen through the Rhine Valley is mostly straight, but with beautiful views of the mountains on both sides of the Rhine. In St. Gallen we change trains and continue to the railway junction in Winterthur. The first film on this DVD starts at the back in the Glarnerland, in Linthal, and on a bright, cloudless day the journey leads to Rapperswil on Lake Zurich.
