Welcome to our third volume looking at the railways on the Isle of Wight. Filmed in 2022 so much has happened since we last filmed here especially on the electric Island Line. New trains converted from ex-London District Line stock dating from 1978. The major infrastructure change is the new passing loop at Brading which means a more balanced timetable can be operated and the practise of terminating at Ryde Esplanade when there is no ferry connection. Meanwhile on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway we see one of their Ivatt 2-6-2Ts in use with a look at the Island Line interchange at Smallbrook Junction and their Train Story museum display.
There is no commentary but an information sheet guides you through. Experience it all as if you were there.
