This is the first in a series of DVDs looking at the wonderful BR blue era of the 1980s.
Volume 1 focuses on the North West England and is packed with action from class 25s and 40s along with 20s, 37s, 45s, 47s and a few surprise intruders. AC electrics also feature.
Just some of the locations included are Carlisle, Ribblehead, Skipton, Carnforth, Lancaster, Preston, Wigan, Warrington, Bolton, Manchester, Stockport, Chinley, Crewe and Chester.
Highlights include 40s and 45s on Pennine services, 25s on passenger and freight, 40s, 31s and 25s at work on the S&C, 81s and 85s on the WCML, Crewe Works running-in turn, class 20s, 31s and 33s head for North Wales.
