Following many requests we are now selling a selection of Austrian Railway DVDs and Blu-rays available from Bahnorama. This long established company have sold programmes by Locorama and Railway Orama for the last decade and these include a great selection of modern, steam and light rail subjects, cab rides and documentaries, plus archive and history. To start we have five cab rides, plus a best-selling documentary. The cab rides are either captions without commentary or English commentary.
First filmed in 1993, 25 years later, we boarded an ÖBB train again, the REX 3415, departing at 9:40 a.m.
In contrast to back then, everything has been enormously modernized. On the ÖBB side, we travel with the most modern ÖBB railcar, the Cityjet.
The return trip from Attnang-Puchheim to Irdning is also documented. This time with a railway technical commentary from Bernhard Pichlhöfer. Both directions are provided with image inserts that can be switched off.
