This DVD features various bus events and running days that took place in 2024 and early 2025. These events are very important, providing opportunities for enthusiasts and the general public to see and ride on some of the many preserved buses in the UK. Many different buses, both old and new can be seen at these events.

City of Portsmouth Preserved Transport Depot - 30th June 2024
The CPPTD is based in Porchester, preserved Portsmouth buses were running from the museum to Cosham and Southsea.

Thanet Vintage Bus Running Day - 14th July 2024
Former East Kent & Maidstone and District buses were running on routes from the Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Museum, Manston, to Ramsgate and Broadstairs, plus modern Stagecoach buses in Ramsgate.

London Bus Museum TransportFest - 20th October 2024
The main event of the day was the launch, after many years of restoration, of 1936 AEC Regal T448. This bus started life as a Greenline coach but latterly was a service bus. It has been restored to this condition. Many other buses and coaches also attended.

Archway Vintage Bus Running Day - 3rd November 2024
Preserved RT's and Routemasters were running on London bus routes 4, 17, 43, 271 & 390. Various single deckers including 1948 AEC Regal T792 were running on route 210. Filmed in Holloway Road, Highgate Hill, Archway Road & Golders Green.

Camden Town Vintage Bus Running Day - 17th November 2024
Preserved RT's Routemasters and RF, plus former London Transport Daimler Fleetline XF1 were running on London bus routes 24, 29, 68, 134 & 214. Filmed in Camden Town, Holloway, Mornington Crescent and Hampstead.

King Alfred Running Day, Winchester - 1st January 2025
Buses from the Friends of King Alfred Buses collection were in action on routes in and around Winchester. Buses from other operators also took part including a 1960 AEC Reliiance from Potteries Motor Traction in Staffordshire.

London Bus Route 19 Running Day - 29th March 2025
Route 19 runs from Battersea Bridge to Finsbury Park, buses taking part included RT's, including RT1, RTL's, an RTW and Routemasters, including prototypes RM1 and RML3, prewar STL441 from The London Bus Museum was also in attendance. Filmed in Battersea, Chelsea, Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly, Rosebery Avenue, Islington, Highbury and Finsbury Park.

Rickmansworth Classic Bus Running Day - 30th March 2025
Organised by the Amersham & District Motorbus Society, the event commemorated the final route to use GS type buses, the 336A, which closed on 30th March 1972. Several GS (Guy Special) buses were in operation, together with other former London Transport and London Country buses on routes in the Rickmansworth area.

Subtitles, no commentary, enjoy the sights & sounds of buses of yesterday and today.
