2025 marks the 200th anniversary of the modern railway, with the Stockton & Darlington Railway opening on the 27th September 1825, widely recognised as the birth of the modern railway. Since then, thousands of steam locomotives have been built by various companies and operated across the country. Our four-disc product showcases 200 steam locomotives that have run at heritage railways and on the mainline over the past decade, filmed across the UK.
