Description

The Avon Valley Railway is a small railway that packs a lot into a small area. Situated on the old Midland Railway route between Bath and Bristol its operating centre is from the restored Bitton station. From there it runs to Oldland Common one way and Avon Riverside in the other. It has an interesting selection of resident locos and stock whilst being able to get very interesting guests at special running days.

Included in this film are LNER J15 7564, GWR 7822 Foxcote Manor and 2-8-0T 4270 and LMS Jinty 47406. Former GWR locos 5786 and 5521 are seen in London Transport guise as L92 and L150 alongside the Metropolitan Railway 0-4-4T No 1.

There is no commentary but an information sheet is provided to guide you through. Experience it all as if you were there.
