This film aims to show the different types of ships using these two Sussex ports. They range from the cross channel ferries linking Newhaven with Dieppe in France through various types of tankers, general cargo, and dredgers down to the tug boats and pilot cutters. See ships negotiate the sea lock at Shoreham. Also included is footage of the preserved vessel MV Balmoral having difficulties coming alongside the pier at Worthing on a very windy day. This material was filmed between 2008 and 2015.
