This film was shot between 2012 and 2017 and shows the variety of ships using the ports along the Channel coast of Northern France. In turn we cover Dunkerque, Calais, Dieppe, Le Havre, Ouistreham and Cherbourg. We see giant container ships, cross channel ferries, tugs and everything in between. Most of the ports have a cross channel connection and here we cover P&O Ferries, My Ferry Link, DFDS, LD Lines Transmarche, Brittany Ferries, Stena and Irish. Several preserved vessels are seen including the former Red Funnel paddle steamer immaculately kept as a memorial to the evacuation of troops from Dunkerque during WW2.
