The major bus operators in South East London are Go-Ahead and Stagecoach, Arriva London also operates in this area with routes from South London and from its garage in Dartford. Go-Ahead is largest operator in the Transport for London area with about 25% of the London bus market, 3 Go-Ahead subsidiaries, London General, London Central and Metrobus run buses in the area covered by this DVD.

The Stagecoach Selkent company has garages in Bromley, Catford and Plumstead, the Bromley garage open day on 13th August 2016 celebrated the 30th anniversary of the 'Roundabout' local bus routes in the Orpington area, heritage buses ran on routes 66 and 227 and there was a display of heritage buses including 2 of the original minibuses used on the 'Roundabout' services.
