This is a cab ride, filmed on board Class 755 bi-mode units, featuring the line from Norwich to Lowestoft and via both routes to Great Yarmouth. Filmed in summer 2022 this was one of a number of routes filmed for Greater Anglia for driver training and route learning.
Split into six sections, we start with the full 23.5 mile journey from Norwich to Lowestoft, then Brundell to Great Yarmouth via Acle and Reedham to Great Yarmouth via Berney Arms. All routes are shown in both directions.
Although the Wherry Lines were resignalled in 2019/2020, all signal boxes remain, as do the boxes associated with the swing bridges at Reedham and Somerleyton. There are sections of jointed-rail and we call at Berney Arms - one of the most remote stations in Britain - only big enough to hold half a coach!
