Following many requests we are now selling a selection of Austrian Railway DVDs and Blu-rays available from Bahnorama. This long established company have sold programmes by Locorama and Railway Orama for the last decade and these include a great selection of modern, steam and light rail subjects, cab rides and documentaries, plus archive and history. To start we have five cab rides, plus a best-selling documentary. The cab rides are either captions without commentary or English commentary.
The Badner Bahn route was built in 1886. One of the most important criteria back then was the development of the suburbs. Today the Badner Bahn transports more than 30,000 people from the suburbs to Vienna every day. The 27.2 km long route runs through the most important junctions, such as Traiskirchen, Guntramsdorf, Wiener Neudorf, Vösendorf, to the final station, the Vienna State Opera - there are a total of 37 train stations and stops..
