A Guided Tour of the lines through Newport and on the main lines through South Wales to Cardiff.
The programme comprises of:
Newport and Stormy Bank in 1988 with a variety of traffic including double-headed 37s on iron ore, Class 47s on a variety of freight and loco-hauled passenger trains.
Newport and its approaches in the late 1990s in a wide variety of vantage points around the station.
The South Wales main line is also featured at many well-known locations including Severn Tunnel Junction, Alexandre Dock Junction, East Ust Jcn, Llanwern, Magor and many other locations.
The programme includes Class 37s on passenger workings, RES 47s on freight, mail and test trains, Class 60s, 59s, 67s and Class 37s on a wide variety of freight.
