Join us for this unique journey along one of the most charming stretches of Mainline as we retrace the steps of the old Cathedrals Express trains of the 1950s. On a beautiful autumn day, we travel along this former Great Western Mainline, taking in the beautiful scenery as we tackle the challenging 4 mile climb of Honeybourne Bank, before gentle descending towards Moreton-in-Marsh in the heart of the Cotswold country. The line still retains much of it's Great Western infrastructure despite modernisation and the return of double track in 2011, when the downgrading of the route was reversed.
With live sound recorded from the locomotive, we bring the action right to you.
