Railways of Portugal Part 1 - South
First 1525 (green livery) departs Vila Real for Lisbon.
Next is 1432 shunting at Faro followed by 1804 shunting at Loulé.
A short visit was made to Barreiro station in 1988. The following sections feature Barreiro in the following year. This time we see locos in the roundhouse. Finally we cross to Lisbon by ferry and see both CP and Carris ferry activity.
Railways of Portugal Part 2 - North
At Cais do Sodré station we join EMU 205 for a journey along the coast to Estoril. Peak time activity is viewed at Santos, the first station after departure. Further activity is seen at Belém the location of the Discoveries Monument. These sections finish with many services at Monte Estoril.
The Lisbon stations section features a return trip from Belém followed by Rossio and finally Santa Apolónia. Moving north we see EMUs at Coimbra. Next is Porto São Bento which sees plenty of Class 14 activity and then later DMU & EMUs. Porto Companha sees a Class 26 and EMU. Narrow Gauge North visits the stations of Trindade, Viseu and Vila Real. This completes our journey from Vila Real to Vila Real!
