The Zurich S-Bahn lines are convincing in two respects. On the one hand, the railway lines lead through beautiful, rural areas and, on the other hand, the operation in the core area of the S-Bahn is extremely exciting. In order to keep the headway times as short as possible, the signals are set up at short intervals. This results in interesting signaling around the Zurich HB junction.
While four driver's cab films drive to Zurich main station, one of the films leads to a remote region of the canton of Zurich, to the Tösstal. The route from Rüti ZH to Winterthur is operated by the railway company Thurbo and shows the hilly landscape in the Hörnli area and in the Tösstal away from the big city.
