DVD No. 21 includes:
Scrapbook: South Wales and Scotland from 2002 with a selection of Class 37 workings from that period with 37/4s working a Boat Train from Cardiff to Fishguard and 37/4s and a few 37/5s working the Cardiff - Rhymney services. 37s still saw regular use on freight at this time, working enterprise, steel, oil and MGRs. Various 37/0s, 37/5s and 37/7s are featured plus a short visit to Scotland in May 2002 with 37405+427 on a railtour and 37401 in Royal Scotsman livery, working that train.
Far North 2010: DRS 37s may no longer work Railtours and Charters in Scotland so we head back to October 2010 when 37423+37610 powered the UK Railtours 'Cock of the North' charter which ran all the way to the top, and right into the train shed at Thurso! At this time 37s were very much in decline in Scotland, working very few trains and this charter which ran to both Kyle and Wick was a real highlight from this period. The weather was great too!
Preservation: A visit to the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway for a day with 'Metals' 37/0, 37227. It may well be only a short line, but with six round trips on the diesel diagram there's plenty of opportunities to ride behind the loco and film from the lineside. Lots of run-pasts are featured, plus the run-round move at each end.
Summer/Autumn 2023: A selection of workings including the regular Colas IM trains and ROG stock and unit moves, 37418 takes Caroline to Oban, 37688+37521 on a railtour, 97s on a weedkiller and the Cambrian timber trains with a mixture of locos including 37405 and 37607.
