Class 37 Scrapbook: A selection of workings from the last 30+ years starting in 1989 at Tees Yard and Thornaby with 37519, 37240, 37507,37515+37516 all passing on a typical afternoon; a great mixed bag of 37s at Nunthorpe working railtours and RHTT; Transrail, Mainline and Loadhaul liveries; 37501+37502 on the Boulby branch; 37203 at Folkstone; 37065, 37190 & 37308 at the Mid Hants Gala in 2002; 37418 at Fishguard; 37612+37609 and 37029+37038 on football specials; early DRS powered flask and IM trains; 37409 with barrier coaches at Dawlish; some previoulsy unseen footage from the Rhymney line in 2019 including a rare double-head working!
37606: From the great DRS sell-off, 37606 was purchased privately and was extracted from Gresty Bridge depot, moving to the Nemesis depot in Burton for attention and a return to the mainline. Footage comes from the overnight move from Crewe with 37418 in charge and an update on the work carried out so far.
Preservation: After an uncertain future, Railfreight red stripe liveried 37674 found a new home at the Strathspey Railway and it worked its first trains in almost three years at the gala in March 2022. See the loco in action on the Friday, and on the Saturday, 37685+37403 worked a Railtour to Aviemore and 37403 joined 37674 on two runs to Broomhill.
Spring/Summer 2022: A round up of Class 37 action including 97302+37418 working a saloon to Porthmadog; Aberystwyth timber trains; various West Coast 37s on stock moves in the highlands; 37401+37422 with a Far North ballast; 37418 works the Pinnox job; ROG 37s with a Class 508 move; ROG 37s to Newport; rare footage of 37219+97304 on a Merseyrail IM train; 37688+D6817 on a Railtour; various Colas IM working including 37116+37610; 37425 with container flats and much more.
