Description

News - The 644 Derailment: Stunning footage of the 644 derailment from March. The tram came off the rails near Gynn Square and ploughed through the promenade wall. See some incredible footage as the tram is coaxed back on to the rails and towed to depot.

The track relay programme between Thornton Gate and Fleetwood was completed in April, allowing trams to run through to Fleetwood again. In addition, the double-deck ban was also lifted. See 700, 712 and a variety of other double deckers running through after an 18 month gap.

A number of repainted trams were in service over the Easter period including 678 in all black, new adverts for 646, 647 & 726, Metro liveried cars 636, 710 & 724 and 'heritage' repaints on cars 703 & 712.

Footage from the May Day and Spring Bank Holiday weekends with 147, 600 & 706 on enthusiast tours, Twin cars back on Fleetwood service, Boat cars on the prom and Vintage cars.

Latest news from the workshops with overhauls for 660 & 702 and a black advert for 720.
