THE BIG SHUNT:
On 12th March the tram depot was reorganised with many of the withdrawn and 'mothballed' cars swapping places with the operational fleet. For the first time in many years the likes of 627, 704 and 676+686 saw the light of day. Our cameras were there and highlights of the day are featured.

EASTER 2009:
Highlights from the four day Easter Holiday starting with the 11 service cars leaving depot on Good Friday morning; the Illuminated Trawler 737 on Fleetwood service; new liveries for 645, 648 and 709; Boats on specials; car 600 on Cleveleys service, 736 the Illuminated Frigate on specials on Easter Monday plus numerous other trams in the fine sunny weather making their first outings after the winter lay-off.679

DEPARTURE:
Having been acquired for preservation, Railcoach 679 was moved from the tram depot on 25th April. See the tram loading up and then departure by road along the former tram route on Lytham Road and Station Road! The tram is off-loaded at the Brinwell Road site where it meets a long forgotten Coronation car!

SPRING 2009:
Various highlights from the spring including a shortage of single deckers which led to Standard car 147 working Cleveleys service and for the first time ever - Frigate 736 on Fleetwood service! Twins 672+683 and 675+685 feature on an enthusiasts special along with 619, 706 and 736.

WESTERN TRAIN LAUNCH:
Following a two year restoration the Western Train was launched on 14th May. See the tram on its first test run, a private hire and then highlights of the official launch with actor Stephen Tompkinson and Jo Blythe, the weather forecaster from Granada Reports. For the first time ever recorded on film, see smoke from the chimney of 733!
