Snow Day!
Blackpool enjoyed two snowfalls during March. One was minor - just a light dusting - while the other was spectacular with blizzards and drifting! There is full coverage of Snow Day 2 - the 12th March, starting with Balloon cars ploughing snow off the tramlines at dawn. Quite possibly for the first time ever on video, see cars 702 and 708 battling their way through the snow. See Centenary cars running through a blizzard and 702 towing a failed 641. Filmed over the full length of the tramway including the prom, Little Bispham, the open fields at Rossall and Fleetwood.

Coronation 304 made a rare evening journey to Fleetwood on 18th March. Starting with a fantastic sunset we follow the tram through to Fleetwood with various night time run-pasts, odd angles and a shunt move at Fleetwood.

May Day Weekend:
Single deckers on service with 602, 633 and 736 on enthusiast tours.

The '611' derailment:
On Tuesday 30th May the Trampower prototype '611' derailed at Starr Gate. As a result single line working was introduced between Starr Gate and Harrowside. See Balloon cars starting from Starr Gate on the wrong line and crossing at Harrowside. '611' is eventually rerailed and leaves for depot.

Time Traveller:
The first part in a new series looks at the tramway from a decade ago - summer 1996. With many long forgotten advert liveries on the prom and trams like 704, 716 and 717 in everyday service it was a very different tramway then. Includes 633 as a Brush car, 709 and 718 before they were rebuilt and many other Railcoaches which are now mothballed.
