Episode four in the series covers a very different industrial scene to the previous three. There may have been few major coal reserves in Southern England, but the area had a huge variety of other commercial activity employing steam power in the 1970s.

Wonderful, previously unpublished film footage, location maps and an in-depth script reveal the fascinating story of steam in the south during this forgotten decade.
