This 4 DVD set includes the following titles featuring railways in West Austria between 1983 - 2005.

AV029: The Pinzgaubahn (Zell am See - Krimml). 81 mins
Filmed in August & September 1999 when the Pinzgaubahn (Austria) was operated by the ÖBB. Route length is 52.6 km (32.7 miles). Gauge is 760 mm (2ft 6ins). Our journey from Zell am See to Krimml is by tourist steam train which uses one of the ÖBB 0-8+4 class 399 nostalgic fleet No. 399.01 (built 1906). On return from Krimml we travel behind diesel loco class 2095
(built 1958-62). At Mittersill the return tourist steam train takes on water in the rain. From Mittersill we travel
by Class 5090 DMU and see more Class 2095 diesels. The film finishes with various narrow gauge movements at Zell am See.

AV030: The Zillertalbahn & Achenseebahn. 83 mins
The Zillertelbahn was visited in June 1986 and The Achenseebahn was visited in September 1999. The Zillertelbahn route length is 31.7 km (19.8 miles) and gauge is 760 mm (2ft 6ins).First we see narrow gauge activities at Jenbach station. Then a ride is taken behind steam loco 0-6-2T No.3 Tirol (built 1902) to Mayrhofen. The return journey to Jenbach is taken by DMU. Other stock is viewed on the journey. The Achenseebahn route length is 6.8 km (4.2 miles) and gauge is 1000 mm (3ft 3ins).We take steam loco 0-4-0RT No. 3 Ackenkirch (built 1899) from Jenbach. At Achensee a lake steamer departs and the other two fleet locos arrive.

AV031: This is Innsbruck (Brenner-Arlberg) 84 mins
Innsbruck was visited in 1986 & 1999 and the Brenner and Arlberg Passes were visited in 1986 & 2005. Locations visited: Brenner, Steinach in Tirol, Jenbach, Telfs-Pfaffenhofen, Landeck, St Anton am Arlberg (old & new), Langen and Innsbruck Station & roundhouse. Zell am See was visited in August & September 1999. Salzburg was visited in 1983 & 1999.
