Our film starts with the February Gala with visiting locomotives No's 30075, 80072, and 5542. Plenty of good steam action including 30075 banking from Froghall Station. Further railway special events are covered with a wedding held at Consall, the War Weekend and Toyland Express. In June 8F 2-8-0 No. 8624 came to the railway for the rest of the year. Also enjoy a footplate ride on 5199 from Froghall to Leekbrook Jct. By September the first locomotive hauled train up to Apesford Crossing on the Caldon Low line was followed by the first steam since 1967 as 8624 ran up the line on the 3rd October.
The November gala featured 71000 Duke of Gloucester 34028 Eddystone, 44767 George Stephenson, 48624 (in black) and 5199. Photo charters are included in our 2010 film as well as an interview with Moorlands City Railway Director David Kemp.
