Welcome to this second volume looking at the railway scene on the Isle of Wight. Filmed during 2017-18 we cover the Isle of Wight Steam Railway from Wootton to Smallbrook Junction and the electric railway from Ryde to Shanklin now part of a new franchisee South Western Railways.

The highlight of 2017 on the IoWSR was their diesel gala which saw a Class 33 shipped over from the mainland. We cover this ground breaking event plus other running days that year. Meanwhile the electric railway soldiers on with the 1938 tube stock now showing its age. We show the trains and the stations which give it the air of a heritage railway in its own right.

There is no commentary but an information sheet guides you through.
