For many years the Midlands has provided a traction feast with a varied mixed bag of passenger and freight, stock moves and railtours, test trains and loco moves and this programme features a great selection of these workings.

Filmed 2021-2025, the action comes from many well known locations in the Lichfield area, Tamworth area, Bescot, the Marches and the freight-only Sutton Park Line. Around 90 trains are featured including a bit of steam, mixing it up with the 66s and 90s.

This programme features loco Classes 20, 26, 37, 40, 47, 50, 56, 57, 60, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 73, 86, 90 and 97 plus various Steam, DMUs & EMUs.
