Welcome to our second volume looking at the diverse nature of the railways around London. Mainline services covered are South West Trains, Thameslink, Southern, South Eastern, Overground and Transport for London. Underground lines include the District, Piccadilly, Metropolitan, Bakerloo, Victoria and Central. We see the collection of Underground stock undergoing restoration at the London Transport Museum's Acton annex.

The Docklands Light Railway is also shown. Something of the station architecture is also shown where this is of note. Although mainly units from 319s to 700s and most variations of Underground stock in this volume there are glimpses of locos on occasional freights with classes 59, 66 and 90s plus exLT sleet and battery locos at Acton.
