Spring 2014: The 2014 Heritage tram service commenced on Good Friday, 18th April and operated on eight days over three Bank Holiday weekends. With the traffic lights out of commission at Manchester Square, the service unusually started and finished at Starr Gate depot each time, rather than Rigby Road. Footage from all eight days is included here, starting with the morning Starr Gate moves and action from all around the system, including Fleetwood. On loan from the National Tramway Museum, car 167 was the star attraction but over the eight days cars 66, 147, 230, 272+T2, 600, 631, 642, 648, 700, 706, 717 and 733+734 were used and all of them are featured here. Also includes the trams lined up for display on Blundell Street and various Flexity trams in service. (68 minutes)
Preservation: 711 leaves for Crich, 622 moves to Anchorsholme School and 167 arrives on loan to Blackpool. Includes footage of 167s arrival and first journey. (5 minutes)
Nostalgia: Going back ten years to May 2004. It may not be remembered as one of the greatest months in history but looking back now, it had just about everything! From Twin cars on service and Boats and Vintage cars on specials to a full double deck Fleetwood service and the countdown to the 70th anniversary of the Streamlined fleet. Some fantastic memories!
