Bahnen am Genfersee
This DVD contains three narrow gauge railways between Nyon and Lausanne at the southern part of the lake Geneva.
The NStCM (Chemin de fer Nyon - St. Cergue - Morez) runs from the city of Nyon on the French border, to La Cure. The MBC (Transports de la région Morges-Bière-Cossonay) is the largest of these three railways: We start in the city of Morges until Bière. In Apples (between Morges and Bière) begins a second line to L'Isle-Mont-la-Ville. 1km before Bière branches off a line to the military area, which belongs to the Swiss confederation. This cab ride was made by an extra-train on a early Sunday-morning from Apples to Bière Casernes. The last railway starts in the centre of Lausanne, suburb in Lausanne-Flon and ends in the station of Bercher.
The route to Bière Casernes is served by an extra train. The link is normally only used for military transport and has no commercial traffic. The short railway line belongs to the Swiss Confederation.
