This cab ride was recorded from the front of Sprinter Unit No.150129 on 11th May 1988 on the Cambrian Coast Line.

This line follows the particularly beautiful Cambrian coast for much of the way, the crossing of Barmouth bridge always a spectacle.

The timetable was as follows: Depart Machynlleth 10.42, arrive Pwllheli 12.44.

We would like to thank the crews concerned for their help and the informative commentary en route. They related their experiences of a recently-run steam excursion over the line and of their early days on the railway.

Please note there is no formal commentary other than cab conversations which are not always audible above locomotive sounds.
