North Wales Class 37/0s: The story of Class 37/4s in North Wales is a well known but less featured are the times when no-heat locos deputised for occasional failures or during the crazy periods in 1998 and 1999 when a number of 37/4s were stopped. Footage here from 1998 shows 37s 013, 065, 191, 220, 509, 611 and 801 all working scheduled passenger trains!
Rhymney Class 37 return: In a remarkable turn of events Class 37 hauled commuter trains returned to the Valleys in May with Colas locos providing the power. Footage here starts in 2000 and 2001 with the 37-hauled trains first time round then forward 18-years to 2019 with 37418 - the first to work - latterly joined by 37421.
Scotland: An amazing spring and summer period say no less than three epic Class 37 Railtours in Scotland: 37409+37402 run to Kyle, 37025+37402 to Oban and 37402+37419 to Fort William. Filmed from many locations in good weather, 37038+37059 hauling the failed Class 66 on the Royal Scotsman is also included.
Anglia: Working off Norwich, the short-set continued into summer. A typical day is featured with 37407+37424, plus 37419 in its newly painted InterCity livery.
