Working our way through 121 hours of unused and unseen archive railway film, shot between 1981 and 1999; and all recorded with the original audio on tripod-mounted cameras.

Highlights of Volume 8 include:

Midland Mainline: Action from Leicester in 1982 and 1986 including Peaks on services to St Pancras and 31106 with a working steam heat boiler on a Birmingham Norwich.

Wakefield Area: Passenger and freight trains including 37160+37201, 47198 and 40185 with 45s and 47s heading for Scarborough.

Midlands: Footage from Bloxwich, Hednesford, Ryecroft Junction and Bescot with 45120 on a charter; 85002 on a ECS move; 08793 loose shunting in the yard at Bescot; 56086 on cement; 50018 on a ballast; three pairs of 20s; DMU 55033 in Midline livery and Class 310 EMUs.

South Wales: At Cardiff, 37241 on a breakdown train and 37256+37275 on coal; 31419 on a Weymouth service at Newport; Rugby World cup action from 1999 on the Rhymney line with 31459, 37417, 37420, 47348, 47703 and 47712.

Welsh Marches: 33035 at Hereford plus an all BR-Blue Class 116 and 37905+37906 on a train of steel coils.

North Wales: Around Llandudno Junction, 40032 on a charter; 47407+25282 head for Blaenau Ffestiniog and 40163 in the yard plus 20903+20902 at Machynlleth.

Cornish Centurian 2: This railtour ran on 3rd May 1991 from Manchester to Penzance and included 47972, 50008 and 50015. Footage from on board, including the shunt move at Penzance.
