Immenstadt – Class 218 action during one of the most busiest periods of the day. Fürth is located on busy lines to the north and sees up to 25 trains per hour. We see endangered class 614 units on local services; class 139, 140, 143, 151, 152, 156, 185 and 189 on freight, as well as classes 111, 143, 146 and ICE trainsets on passenger workings.

Class 112 & 143 electrics & class 425 multiple units feature on passenger workings, whilst class 203, 291 & 185 are seen on freight as well as a Swiss SBB Cargo Re4/4 working a train of molten steel. Cologne – another visit is made to the busy avoiding lines around the city of Cologne, which see a considerable amount of freight and passenger workings, hauled by a wide variety of electric and diesel locomotive classes. Cologne south is the station we are based at where we see classes 101, 140, 146, 151, 155, 182, 185, 189, 218 and 225, as well as Privately-operated euro class 66s.
