Electrification of London's bus routes continues apace, this DVD covers the autumn and winter of 2021/2. The BYD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro200EV and 400EV types of buses dominate these conversions to electric traction, electric buses that have been previously used on other routes have appeared on a couple of routes 507 and 521. Some of the 12m long buses used on these routes have been upseated and transferred to the 360 and the Here East contract in Stratford, releasing 10.8m long buses for the 413. The following routes are featured on this DVD:
Route 319: Sloane Square - Streatham Hill, operated by Arriva London from their Brixton garage with BYD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro400EV buses.
Route 160: Catford Bridge - Sidcup Station, BYD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro400EV buses were introduced on 1st December 2021, operated by Stagecoach London from their Catford garage.
Routes H9 & H10: Harrow circular service, RATP-DEV introduced BYD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro200EV 10.2m buses in December 2021, operated from their Harrow garage.
Route 180: Lewisham - Belvedere, this route was partially converted to electric buses in January 2022. Stagecoach London are operating 10 BYD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro400EV buses from their Plumstead garage.
Route 413: Sutton - Morden. In December 2021 a number of BYD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro200EV 10.8m buses were transferred from route 360, the route is operated by Go-Ahead London from their Merton garage.
Route 63: King's Cross - Honor Oak. Abellio London started using new BYD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro400EV buses on this route in December 2021, these buses are built to an enhanced specification which includes high backed seats, roof lights and iBus displays. The 63 is operated from Walworth garage.
Route 398: Ruislip Station - Wood End. RATP-DEV operated this route from their Harrow garage with 10.2m BYD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro200EV buses.
Route W15: Hackney - Higham Hill, Go-Ahead London introduced 10.9m BYD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro200EV buses on this route on 5th March 2022. The route is operated by Go-Ahead London from their Northumberland Park garage.
Route 360 & Here East: 12m BYD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro200EV buses displaced from routes 507 and 521 have been upseated from 21 to 33 seats and are now running on route 360 and the Here East route that runs from Stratford City bus station to the Here East business park in the Olympic Park. The buses allocated to this route have been painted in special liveries.
