Spring 2021: After a six month gap Heritage Trams returned over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, operating ten tours each day. In glorious sunny weather, 66, 227, 600, 621, 642, 715 and 717 were all in action. Footage from all three days.
North Station/Foxhall: The North Station extension didn’t open in May 2021 as previously planned. Here is an update on the work and a look at the soon-to-be-lost Foxhall line.
671 departure: A planned redevelopment of Rigby Road depot will result in about ten trams having to move out. FTT-owned Twin motor 671 was first, moving to a new home in St. Helens. The final days of 671+681 in service from 2010, plus moving day in April 2021.
Nostalgia: From 2016: 675+685 and the Western Train on evening runs to Fleetwood; from 2011: The final year of the old tramway with the first trams to the new Starr Gate; from 2006: 702 and 708 on snowplough duties and 304 on an evening Fleetwood tour; from 2001: The 722 derailment and 147 in the workshops; from 1996: A blaze of long lost liveries and long lost trams!
