Shot between 2015 and 2020 this film shows the tremendous changes to this franchise over this time. We start at Moorgate and follow through various locations to Welwyn North before covering the Hertford Loop and then the northern end of the route at Cambridge and Kings Lynn. We cover the last days of the Class 313s and their replacement by 717s on the inner suburban routes, along with the 317s and 365s by 387s on the fast trains to Cambridge, Ely and Kings Lynn. During this period the Peterborough and Huntingdon services plus the stopping service to Cambridge were transferred to Thameslink and Class 700s. We also see the trains of other operators on this route, East Coast/LNER, Hull Trains and Grand Central with their HSTs, 91s, 180s, plus 66s and 70s on freight.
