Scottish Diesel action from the 1980s, the 1990s and 2010.

This is a 2 hour 30 minute double disc DVD - The first disc features 60 minutes of footage from the 1980s and 1990s with the second disc showing 90 minutes of the Scottish diesel scene from 2010.

With the Class 37s now into their 50th year of service this programme starts with various 37/4s in the large logo livery working passenger and freight trains on the West Highland and Far North Lines from the 1986-1988 period.

Many of the old favourites are seen including 37405, 37410, 37411, 37412, 37413, 37422 and 37424.

As well as the 37s, there's footage of 26s, 27s, 47s and 47/7s from many well known Scottish locations such as Edinburgh, Glasgow Queen Street, Perth, Dundee, Gleneagles and Blackford.

See the push pull sets, rake after rake of Mk1 coaches in the blue and grey livery,mixed freight trains and Class 101, 107 and 120 DMUs on the Forth Bridge.

The second part of the DVD has extended highlights of the Scottish diesel scene from 2010 including 37423+37610 to Thurso, 37608+37409 on the Northern Belle, 37676+37516 to Oban, various other Class 37 hauled tours; 37676 and 47s on the Royal Scotsman, Class 67 hauled Golf specials plus 87002, large logo 47580 and 55022 all on tour duty and 60059 on the Sleeper ECS.

Various freight and engineers trains are included, many filmed in the deep snow of December.

There's a mini feature on HSTs and the programme finishes with highlights of the 2011 Class 37 gala at Bo'ness with 37025, 37175, 37423, 37685 and 37906.
