Description
Locomotives that featured a 4-6-2 wheel arrangement were referred to as Pacifics, and they were some of the most powerful and glamorous steam engines to be found on the railways of Britain.
Thankfully several have survived and live on in todays world of preservation.
This programme features action on preserved lines and the main line with a selection of these survivors from a bygone age of rail travel steaming on in the modern world.
