Description
Programme 1: All Change at Earl's Court (47 minutes)
Until March 1981, the CO/CP Stock, built between 1937 and 1941, was a familiar sight at Earl's Court.
This DVD traces its history, and shows it in operation during the last five years of service.
It is seen on all parts of the District Line, as well as on the northern half of the Circle Line.
The two farewell tours, run after normal passenger service had ceased, are featured, when the specials traversed most of the lines where this stock had operated, including the East London Line and the Metropolitan Line's Uxbridge branch.
Programme 2: Q Stock Remembered (60 minutes)
This traces the history of this distinctive rolling stock, which is seen in action on the District Line, including the South Acton Shuttle and on the East London Line.
The final tours are also covered, plus scenes of this stock in use as Pilot locomotives.
Authentic sounds of the Q stock have been added to bring the action to life.
