The Western Train:
On 4th October, 733+734 were pulled out of depot to take part in the ceremony to announce that Blackpool Transport had been successful in a bid for lottery cash to restore the trams. See both vehicles for the last time before work began.

636 departure:
On 22nd November Brush car 636 departed Blackpool bylow-loader for a test site in Derby. Fitted with a new type of bogie, thetram is loaded up for its new home. Things didn't go to plan and 636 wasdamaged during loading. After 69 years in Blackpool, the tram departed and was filmed for the last time on Squires Gate Lane!
